Overview

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is a 2d side scrolling platformer developed by Press Play. The game is a spiritual successor to Press Play's previous game Max and the Magic Marker. Originally announced as a Xbox 360 title, the game has also made the jump to the Xbox One. This will be the first game Press Play will release after Microsoft Studios's acquisition in 2012.

Gameplay

Very reminiscent of Limbo, the game puts you in control of Max as he sets out to find his brother. The game features a magic marker which gives Max the ability to draw ropes and create ledge extensions. This drawing mechanic can help him get out of sticky situations and bypass platforming puzzles.

Plot

Annoyed with his little brother, Max reads a spell which causes him to fall into an unknown world. Now Max must follow his brother in order to save him.
