Crysis Remastered Trilogy Launching On Console And PC This Year

06/03/2021 03:12:24

You’ve heard the old gaming adage - if your PC can run Crysis 3, it can run anything.

The absolute sci-fi classic series, born in 2007 maintained huge popularity for its lifetime, and as it circled around into a trilogy, it won a legendary status for PC players. The games have been remembered incredibly fondly, and after the release of Crysis Remastered in 2020, players on both consoles and PC were able to revisit the series and discover it for the first time. And now, for both fans and newbies, there’s an all-new way to experience the whole trilogy.

Crysis developers Crytek have made an official announcement on their website that a Crysis Remastered Trilogy will be making its way to players in Fall (aka Autumn) 2021. Featuring each of the mainline titles in the series, the pack of games has been optimised in partnership with Saber Interactive for modern hardware. Crysis 2 and 3 will be available for individual purchase too, due to the first title’s remaster being released last year. Crytek has also released a trailer that shows off the massive bombastic action we can expect from the remasters.

WHAT CONSOLES ARE THE CRYSIS REMASTERED TRILOGY COMING TO?

Each of the titles in the Crysis series in their remastered forms will come individually and as a pack to PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. They’ll come to the platforms during the Fall of 2021, and we’ll get a solid release date closer to the time.

It’s exciting news for Crysis fans, but equally, it’s a chance for new players to finally run through one of the early 2000’s best first-person titles. Fingers crossed it’ll run easier on PC this time around...
